Funny, because I’m not sure I’ve actually read any Emily Dickenson (well, probably in school)… With the occasional exception, I don’t care for poetry.

However: 

Emily Elizabeth Dickinson was an American poet. With the possible exception of Walt Whitman, Dickinson is now recognized as the most important American poet of the 19th century. Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts.Wikipedia

She and I both hail from Massachusetts and I’m 19th century bookish at heart. I guess I’ll have to look up her works, I like what I’ve found in this short search!
